“Lycoris Recoil” Anime Releases 3rd Key Visual And Promo Video For Final Arc

The official website for the original anime “Lycoris Recoil” released a third key visual and promotional video to tease the upcoming final arc. The anime is currently being simulcast by Crunchyroll as it airs in Japan as part of their Summer 2022 Anime Season.

“Lycoris Recoil” premiered on July 2, 2022 and has quickly become a fan favorite. A-1 Pictures is producing the project with Shingo Adachi (Sword Art Online) as director. The anime is an original story by Asaura, and Imigimuru is handling the character design. The Japanese voice cast includes: Chika Anzai as “Chisato Nishikigi”, Shion Wakayama as “Takina Inoue”, Ami Koshimizu as “Mizuki Nakahara”, Misaki Kuno as “Kurumi”, and Kosuke Sakaki as “Mika”.

In addition, Crunchyroll recently premiered the English dubbing on August 20, 2022. The main English cast members include: Lizzie Freeman as “Chisato Nishikigi”, Xanthe Huynh as “Takina Inoue”, Jennifer Losi as “Mizuki Nakahara”, Lisa Reimold as “Kurumi”, Bob Carter as “Mika”, and Kayleigh McKee as “Kusunoki”.

Crunchyroll “Lycoris Recoil” Synopsis: For these peaceful days――there’s a secret behind it all. A secret organization that prevents crimes: “DA - Direct Attack”. And their group of all-girl agents: “Lycoris”. This peaceful everyday life is all thanks to these young girls. The elite Chisato Nishikigi is the strongest Lycoris agent of all time. Alongside is Takina Inoue, the talented but mysterious Lycoris. They work together at one of its branches–Café LycoReco. Here, the orders this café takes range from coffee and sweets to childcare, shopping, teaching Japanese to foreign students, etc. It's mostly tasks unbefitting of Lycoris. The free-spirited and optimistic pacifist, Chisato. And the cool-headed and efficient Takina. The chaotic everyday lives of this mismatched duo begin!
