“Do It Yourself!!” TV Anime Releases New Character Promo Videos
The official website for the new original anime “Do It Yourself!!” released new character promotional videos to tease the upcoming series. The slice-of-life is set to be release in October 2022. Streamer Crunchyroll will simulcast the anime as it airs in Japan as part of their Fall 2022 Anime Season.
In addition, “Do It Yourself!!” Episode 1 will premiere at the 2022 Crunchyroll Expo on August 6, 2022. The new character trailers showcase the newly announced cast including:
Konomi Inagaki as “Serufu”,
Kana Ichinose as “Purin”,
Ayane Sakura as “Kurei”,
and Azumi Waki as “Takumi”.
The cast also includes Karin Takahashi as “Shii” (left below) and Nichika Omori as “Jobko” (right below).
Crunchyroll Synopsis: Building furniture and friendships have a lot in common. Intention, effort, and hard work are needed for both crafts. This is a story of girls in a DIY club building both as they carve out their futures. None of it comes easy, but that doesn’t stop any of ’em. Furniture, friendships, and the future—they’re building it all with their own hands!
Animation studio PINE JAM will be handling the production with Kazuhiro Yoneda directing. IMAGO and Avex Pictures are credited with the original work. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu will handle the script and series composition. Yuusuke Matsuo is handling the character designs with Yuka Okamoto as art director and Ryohei Sataka in charge of the music.
