“Do It Yourself!!” TV Anime Releases New Character Visuals
The official website for the new original anime “Do It Yourself!!” recently released new visuals for two more main characters to tease the upcoming series.
“Do It Yourself!!” follows a group of high school girls from Sanjō City, Niigata Prefecture named Kurei, Takumi, Serufu, Purin, Jobuko, and Shii, (pictured below from left to right) as they learn the joys of hands-on crafting projects.
Previously visuals for the characters Serufu and Purin were released. The new character visuals include:
Takumi Hikage is a quiet and retiring girl who often flubs the timing even when she has something to say. Although she isn't terribly passionate about handicrafts, she joined the DIY Club at Self's request. Takumi is good at work that requires repetition and extended, intense concentration, such as pasting small tiles in place or sanding, and she works in silence with great dedication.
Rei Yasaku aka “Kurei” is a third year high school student and the head of the DIY Club. She doesn't talk much and her appearance is a bit intimidating, but she has many secret admirers among the junior girls at school. Kurei's parents run a home improvement store, and she has a wealth of knowledge on DIY projects and professional level crafting skills. She invites everyone she bumps into to join the DIY Club, which is on the verge of shutting down due to a lack of members.
Animation studio PINE JAM will be handling the production with direction from Kazuhiro Yoneda. Additional details including voice cast and release date have yet to be released.
