Yen Press Licenses Yuri Manga Series “Cheerful Amnesia”

Publisher Yen Press announced during their Sakura-Con 2023 panel the license acquisition of the Yuri manga series “Cheerful Amnesia” by Oku Tamamushi.

Known in Japan as “Cheerful Amnesia”, the comedy manga was first serialized in Comic Cune in 2016 and ended in 2020. The Yuri series has 6 volumes in print in Japan. Manga artist Oku Tamamusi is best known for creating “I Don’t Know Which is Love” and contributing stories to “Whenever Our Eyes Meet... Yuri Anthology” and “Éclair: A Girls' Love Anthology”. “I Don't Know Which Is Love” Volume 1 is set to be released by Yen Press on August 22, 2023.

“Cheerful Amnesia” Volume 1 is schedule to be release Fall 2023.

Yen Press “Cheerful Amnesia” Synopsis: Arisa has lost her memories of the past three years, and her girlfriend, Mari, worries that means their love has vanished as well. But when Arisa lays eyes on her, it’s love at first sight all over again! Hoping to rekindle what they had, Mari decides to help Arisa experience things with her once more, from dates to kissing and beyond...?!
