Yen Press Licenses Yuri Manga Anthology “I Don’t Need a Happy Ending”

Publisher Yen Press announced the license acquisition of the Yuri manga anthology “I Don’t Need a Happy Ending” by Mikanuji.

Manga artist Mikanuji is best known for “Assorted Entanglements” (Fuzoroi no Renri). The yuri manga series started out as a web comic on the creators pixiv account in 2017. Kadokawa’s Comic Newtype went on to serialize the manga in 2020. The manga currently has seven volumes. Yen Press is set to release Volume 1 on February 21, 2023. Mikanuji’s previous manga titled “Now Loading...!”, was release in English by Seven Seas Entertainment in 2019. Mikanuji also contributed to the “Whenever Our Eyes Meet... Yuri Anthology”, “RWBY: Official Manga Anthology”, “The Demon Girl Next Door Anthology Comic”, and is currently being serialized in Young Ace Up in Japan with the manga title “Senpai, Oishii desu ka?” (Senpai, Does It Taste Good?).

“I Don't Need a Happy Ending” is set to be released on August 22, 2023.
