Yuri Visual Novel Spotlight: “Dating Life: Miley x Emily”

Developer Dharker Studio released “Dating Life: Miley X Emily” back in July 2019 on Steam. The Yuri visual novel was also recently released by publisher Gamuzumi on Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 in August 2021.
The single player game is described as “a yuri (lesbian) style short visual novel about two women on a date. You control Miley and can make key decisions that will determine how the date progresses, what happens and most importantly what will happen at the nights end. Your choices will affect the outcome in this fun and unexpected story of Dating Life.”
The game features five different endings to the date based on the players choices and is available in English, Japanese, German and Spanish. The VN also includes Mature Content with partial nudity and sexual suggestive content.
Story Synopsis: Play as Miley as she goes on her first date in years. However, her partner might not be who she expected after she inputted her own details incorrectly, and it leads to an unexpected date between two usually heterosexual women.
Despite the strange twist of fate and their own feelings, they decide to 'just go with it' and enjoy the night together. You control Miley and can make key decisions that will determine how the date progresses, what happens and most importantly what will happen at the nights end.
“Dating Life: Mily X Emily” is available to purchase on Steam, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5 for $9.99. The game’s sequel, “Dating Life: Miley X Emily 2”, is also available to purchase on Steam for $2.99. The sequel follows “Emily as she goes on her second date with Miley”.
