“Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid” Announces Video Game For Nintendo Switch And PS4
Bushiroad and Kaminari Games announced this week that a “Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid” video game is in development for the Nintendo Switch and Playstation 4. The game will be titled "Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Burst Forth!! Choro-gon☆Breath" and is set to be released in Spring 2022.
"Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Burst Forth!! Choro-gon☆Breath" will be a scrolling shooter type game and will be launched in Japanese and English. The game will be based on Coolkyoushinja's “Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid” (Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon) manga, which launched in Monthly Action magazine in May 2013, and not the anime series.
The game’s tagline: “Fly, Shoot, and Punch…! Tohru is here to protect Miss Kobayashi even in this strange land!”
Voice actress Yuuki Kuwahara will reprise her role as “Tohru” from the anime series. The character is described as “A dragon who became Miss Kobayashi's maid. Looks down on humans but adores Miss Kobayashi. Considers herself the ultimate maid.”
“Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” Season 1 and “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S” Season 2 are currently available to stream in subtitles on Crunchyroll and English dubbing on Funimation. The series is also available to purchase on blu-ray. The short anime series “Mini Dragon” is also currently available to stream in subtitles on Crunchyroll.
Seven Seas Entertainment is currently releasing the manga series “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” and the spin-off’s “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Elma’s Office Lady Diary” and “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: Kanna’s Daily Life” in English.
