“Shine Post” Anime Set To Stream On HIDIVE

Sentai Filmworks announced that they have acquired exclusive rights to the upcoming “Shine Post”. HIDIVE will simulcast the anime as it airs in Japan as part of their Summer 2022 Anime Season. The idol anime is set to be released on July 12, 2022.

HIDIVE will simulcast the series to audiences worldwide (excluding Asia). Sentai also announced it will release the anime on home video at a later date. In addition, “Shine Post” will be premiering at the 2022 Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 1, 2022.

“Shine Post” Synopsis: Although the idol group TiNgS is chasing after big dreams, so far their accomplishments have only been small — and now, suddenly, they're facing a potential break up! Hope seems lost, but when a new manager with a special skillset takes them under his wing, the members of TiNgS find themselves shooting for the stars all over again.

“Shine Post” stars Sayumi Suzushiro as “Haru Nabatame”, Moeko Kanisawa as “Kyо̄ka Tamaki”, Yūko Natsuyoshi as “Rio Seibu”, Rika Nakagawa as “Momiji Itо̄”, and Rimo Hasegawa as “Yukine Giongi”. The franchise first introduced the project in October 2021 revealing the 5 idol unit titled "TINGS!".

In addition, the in-story rival group “HY:RAIN” includes Yū Serizawa as “Ren Kurogane”, Kurumi Takase as “Aoba Karabayashi”, Miyu Kubota as “Itoha Karabayashi”, Tomoyo Takayanagi as “Nanoha Hiumi”, and Arisa Kōri as “Yawara Naekawa”.

The anime was announced by Konami Digital Entertainment and Straight Edge, and will be a part of a multimedia project that will include a game, manga and concerts. Based on the light novel by writer Rakuda and illustrator Buriki, the anime will be directed by Kei Oikawa at Studio KAI. The music video for the song "Be Your Light!!" by "TINGS", was released in January 2022 and showcased the idol group and their first single.
