“Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie” To Premiere On Netflix

Netflix recently announced the streaming rights to “Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie” Part 1 and Part 2. The anime films will premiere globally outside of Japan on June 3, 2021.

The iconic franchise continues to be a massive hit worldwide with old and newer fans. After being delayed by COVID-19, Part 1 opened in theaters in Japan on January 8, 2021 and Part 2 opened on February 11, 2021. The films animation was produced by TOEI Animation and Studio DEEN.

“Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie” serves as the fourth season of the 2014 rebooted TV anime “Sailor Moon Crystal” and follows the “Dream arc” of the original manga by Naoko Takeuchi.

Netflix released a trailer for both films, showcasing the extensive dubbing for some of the languages that the films will be released in including Spanish, German, English, as well as the original Japanese.

Netflix Synopsis: The upcoming adventures are set in April, when the cherry blossoms are in bloom and Tokyo is in a festive mood as it celebrates the largest Total Solar Eclipse of the century. As the new moon obscures the sun and gradually dims its light, Usagi and Chibi-Usa encounter Pegasus, who is in search of the chosen Maiden who can break the seal of the Golden Crystal. Meanwhile, a mysterious troupe called the Dead Moon Circus appears in town whose nefarious plan is to scatter the nightmare incarnations known as Lemures, seize the ‘Legendary Silver Crystal,’ rule over the moon and the earth, and eventually dominate the entire universe…

“Sailor Moon Crystal” Seasons 1-3 can currently be streamed on Crunchyroll, Amazon Prime and Hulu and is available to purchase on blu-ray in subtitles and English dubbing.

The original 90s “Sailor Moon” anime is currently available to stream on Amazon Prime and Hulu and is available to purchase on DVD and blu-ray in subtitles and English dubbing.
