“Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story-” Season 2 Set To Premiere April 7

The official website for “Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story-” revealed the premiere date for the upcoming new season along with a new key visual. Season 2 is set to premiere on April 7, 2023.

Season 2 was officially announced in June 2022 following the airing of episode 13 in Japan. It was later announced by production that Season 2 would be delayed to April 2023 due to "various circumstances".

The anime stars Akari Kito as “Eve” and Asami Seto as “Aoi”. Takayuki Inagaki directed the series at Bandai Namco Pictures with Yousuke Kuroda as scriptwriter. Bandai Namco Pictures is producing the anime in association with the Global Golf Media Group Company. Kohmi Hirose returns from the first season to perform the opening theme song "Venus Line". The new ending theme song will be "Kimi ga Iru kara" (Since You're Here) by Sarasa Kadowaki.

Crunchyroll previously announced that the anime will continue to be simulcast on the streamer. Season 2 will be a part of their Spring 2023 Anime Season. “Birdie Wing -Golf Girls’ Story-” Season 1 premiered on April 5, 2022 and all 13 episodes can currently be streamed on Crunchyroll.

Crunchyroll Synopsis: Fore! After Eve’s first meet-up with Aoi on the grass left her in defeat, she’s had her eyes set on a rematch to return the favor. Both these up-and-coming golfers are highly skilled, highly unique and most of all, highly competitive. With dreams of making it pro, a rivalry is getting in full swing as they both battle it out in the biggest tournaments.
