Yen Press Licenses Yuri Manga Series “Can I Call You Unnie?”
Publisher Yen Press announced during their Anime NYC 2026 panel the English license acquisition of the Yuri manga “Can I Call You Unnie?” by Alt Hanakage.
“Can I Call You Unnie?” was created by artist and author Alt Hanakage in 2025. KADOKAWA officially published Volume 1 of the on-going Girls Love manga series in 2026.
Synopsis: As a diehard K-pop fan, Natsuki has spent every day in tears since the main vocalist of her favorite girl group retired and vanished from social media. That is, until her coworker hits her with a truth bomb—is Natsuki really going to spend the rest of her life waiting for her idol to come back?! Filled with new energy, Natsuki downloads a dating app. Except the first woman she matches with…looks just like her fave?!
