Seven Seas Licenses Yukiko’s “Cats and Sugar Bowls” Yuri Manga

Publisher Seven Seas Entertainment announced today the license acquisition of the Yuri manga “Cats and Sugar Bowls” by Yukiko.

Seven Seas describes the manga as “a beautiful collection of sweet and provocative yuri romances”. Known in Japan as “Neko to Sugar Pot”, the single volume girl love collection was originally published in 2020 by Yukiko.

Manga creator Yukiko is well known in the Yuri community due to her popular on-going manga series “Futaribeya: A Room For Two”. Yuri Anime News are huge fans of the series and even included it on our list of “Top 10 Manga To Start Your Yuri Obsession” and our list of “Top 10 Yuri Manga Of The Year 2021”. “Futaribeya: A Room For Two” is currently being published by Tokyopop and has 8 volumes in print in North America. Yukiko has also contributed to the Yuri Anthology manga series “Syrup”, currently being published by Seven Seas.

“Cats and Sugar Bowls” Synopsis: Want a little spice with your sugar? Cats and Sugar Bowls serves up nine bite-sized tales about love between women. Touka, while looking for a lover willing to indulge her more extreme BDSM fantasies, runs into her boss at a bondage club. All these delights and more await!

“Cats and Sugar Bowls” will be released for the first time in North America in print and on digital platforms in a single large-trim edition in September 2022 for $14.99 USA / $18.99 CAN.
