Yuri TV Anime “Hoshikuzu Telepath” Announces 2023 Premiere

The official website for the upcoming Yuri TV anime “Hoshikuzu Telepath” (Stardust Telepath) was launched this week along with the announcement of the 2023 premiere.

The website also revealed new key art (above) and staff details for the upcoming sci-fi anime. Kaori is directing the anime at Studio Gokumi with Takahiro Sakai designing the characters, and also serving as chief animation director. Kaori and Natsuko Takahashi are in charge of the series composition.

Based on the four-panel manga by Rasuko Okuma, the manga has been serialized in the Manga Time Kirara magazine since May 2019. It has 3 volumes in print in Japan. Manga Time Kirara announced the TV anime adaptation in November 2022.

Manga Synopsis: A shy girl, Umika's problem is that she cannot speak well because of her excessive stage fright. She has gradually given up trying to make friends. Then one day, a transfer student named Yu appears. She is an alien and has the ability of "Odekopathy," which allows her to understand the feelings of others when her forehead is attached to other's...!? A dazzling coming-of-age story of "yuri" and "space" by up-and-coming author Rusuko Okuma.
