“Yuki Yuna Is A Hero” Anime Reveals New Character Visuals For Season 3

The official Twitter for the anime “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero” revealed new character visuals for the upcoming 3rd season. “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: Great Full Blossom Chapter” (Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru: Dai Mankai no Shou) is set to premiere October 2021 in Japan.

The new anime season was announced in August 2020 on the 6th anniversary of the franchise and will be a direct sequel to “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The Hero Chapter”. The original staff and voice cast will return with Studio Gokumi handling the animation. The new character visuals include:

The first season, “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero”, premiered in 2014 with 12 episodes and can currently be streamed on Crunchyroll.

Crunchyroll Synopsis: Yuna Yuki is an ordinary second-year middle school student. She gets up in the morning, gets ready for school, goes to classes, participates in club activities, and has fun with her friends. But there is one extraordinary thing about Yuki -- she belongs to the “Brave Hero Club.” What does the Brave Hero Club do? Who is the mysterious being called “Vertex?” Yuki Yuna and her friends’ story takes place in Year 300, Era of the Gods.

The second season, which premiered in 2017, was split between a 6-episode prequel, “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The Washio Sumi Chapter”, and a 6-episode sequel, “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The Hero Chapter”. Recently, “Yuki Yuna Is A Hero Churutto!” short anime series premiered in Japan. In addition to the anime, the franchise includes manga, light novels and video games.
