“Slow Loop” TV Anime Releases 1st Video Promo And New Key Art

The official website for the TV anime “Slow Loop” released the first promotional video and new key art to tease the upcoming series. The new slice-of-life fishing anime is set to premiere in January 2022 in Japan.

“Slow Loop” follows Hiyori, a girl who enjoys fly fishing by the beach, which was an activity passed down to her by her late father. On one typical day at the beach, she happens to meet Koharu, who happens to be her new stepsister from her mother's new marriage.

Along with the teaser, the staff and cast were announced. The animation will be handled by CONNECT with Noriaki Akitaya directing. Shoko Takimoto is the chief animation director and is designing the characters. Yuka Yamada in handling the series scripts. The cast includes:

Rin Kuzumi as the voice of the main character, Hiyori Kainagi,

Natsumi Hioka will voice “Koharu Kainag”, who is Hiyori's new step-sister,

and Tomomi Mineuchi will voice Hiyori's childhood friend “Yoshinaga Koi”.

The anime is based on Maiko Uchino’s manga of the same name, which has been serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward in Japan since 2018.

No US distributed has been announced as of yet for the anime.
